DESCRIPTION: This webinar will address the role of grandparents, fathers, extended family, Early Head Start (EHS), and community partners in nurturing the relationships that impact teen parents. Resources, support strategies, and systems will be identified and discussed for EHS staff. The featured guest speaker is Nick Wechsler, co-author of the book Teenagers and Their Babies: A Perinatal Home Visitor’s Guide. Mr. Wechsler is an infant specialist and the Assistant Director for Program Development at the Ounce of Prevention Fund in Chicago, IL.
