At Wisconsin Head Start Association, we believe that investing in our people strengthens our entire community. That is why we are proud to announce that applications for the WHSA Parent Affiliate Scholarship and Staff Affiliate Scholarship are now open. If you are a Head Start parent, guardian, or staff member who is pursuing your education or job training, the WHSA Parent and Staff Affiliate Scholarship could help make that goal more attainable. The application deadline is June 15, 2026.
Two Scholarships, Two Audiences
This year, WHSA is awarding a total of four scholarships across two distinct programs.
Parent Affiliate Scholarship
The Parent Affiliate Scholarship is designed for current Early Head Start or Head Start parents and guardians who are enrolled in or planning to attend an accredited school or job training program. Two $750 scholarships will be awarded.

Staff Affiliate Scholarship
The Staff Affiliate Scholarship supports current Head Start employees with at least one year of service who are furthering their education or pursuing job training. Two $750 scholarships will be awarded.

How to Apply

We are proud to support the parents, guardians, and staff members who make Head Start programs possible every day.
