Head Start Parent and Former Head Start Student

for Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from Noon – 1:30 pm
at Kalahari Resort & Convention Center, Wisconsin Dells, WI

 

Please review the attached recommendation information and application and distribute this information to your staff and parents/families for their consideration and completion. The person making the recommendation must complete this application.

 

The criteria for the panel is that:

  • The panel presenter nominee must be a past Head Start/Early Head Start/Native American Head Start/Migrant and Seasonal Head Start alumni or parent
  • Staff/Directors who are Head Start/ Early Head Start/Native American Head Start/Migrant and Seasonal Head Start alumni or parents are also eligible
  • Letter of recommendation from the person making the nomination
  • Sign off on this recommendation from the nominee so that they are aware of the time commitment for the luncheon panel presentation on 2/24/14
  • Sign off from the director on the application acknowledging they will be responsible for travel to the event
  • WHSA will pay for a hotel room Monday or Tuesday night of the event and will also provide a small honorarium to the panelists selected
  • Only applications received by Friday, October 31, 2014 will be considered timely for selection committee consideration
