DESCRIPTION: The 2011 Region V Head Start Conference continues the enhanced and expanded training efforts begun in Region V in 2009 focusing on Leadership Challenges. This event will expand upon the efforts endorsed by the Office of Head Start and will provide a Head Start leadership foundation of national proportions and is intended to help build leadership skills at every level of the Head Start organization.  The Conference will provide intensive, practical. and advanced level learning to enhance the professional development levels of Head Start parents, staff and administrators.
