WHSA, in collaboration with the nINA Collective, is working to create organizational change teams comprised of participants in leadership positions at Head Start programs. Participants will have two half-day trainings (November 16 & December 14, 2020) on how to lead an anti-racist organization, how racism shows up in organizational policies and practices, and tools to leverage to root out policies that have unintended negative impacts on communities of color. Registrants will also spend time in 4-8 additional calls/meetings to leverage learning in examining organizational policies and practices that promote or inhibit equity within their organization.

(4-8 Additional Calls/Meetings will be scheduled in partnership with group members)

Audience:

Directors, managers, and staff with decision making authority

Cost:

$700 per participant or $1,800 for teams of 3!

Recording: 

Equity Change Team training content will be recorded and available for future viewing by registrants.


Project Scope: 

The nlNA Collective will provide consulting services over a period of up to four months to provide training and support to WHSA “Change Team” registrants.
These services will include:
1. Supporting leadership in shepherding the change process towards becoming more anti-racist organizations.
2. Increasing capacity to assess organizational policies and practices and embed racial equity into agency operations.
3. Two half-day trainings (November 16 & December 14) on:
Transformational Leadership and Navigating Change
Racial Equity Tools
4. Coaching and technical assistance on application of Racial Equity Tools to WHSA policies and practices: four hours per month for two months to be scheduled in partnership with team participants
