A second continuing resolution (CR) for FY 2011 Appropriations has amended the first CR signed into law on September 30, 2010. The second CR extends the CR expiration date by 15 days to allow continued government operations at FY 2010 levels through December 18 (instead of through December 3).
The House approved the 15 day extension (by a vote of 239 to 178) on December 1st and the Senate unanimously approved the second CR on December 2nd. President Obama signed the resolution into law on December 4.
