Education Coordinator: This position is responsible for the education and early childhood development portion of the Head Start program.
This includes planning, managing, supervising and coordinating an early childhood education curriculum and providing educational resources for staff and parents, ensuring compliance with performance standards, child care licensing regulations, and recognized best practices in the field of early childhood education.
Also will ensure disabilities and behavior management services are supported by staff and/or consultants so that needed services for children are individualized and secured.
Minimum requirement is a Baccalaureate or Advanced degree in Early Childhood Education; or a Baccalaureate or Advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education with experience teaching preschool age children; and the capacity to assist teachers in implementing and adapting curricula to the group and individual needs of children in the Head Start program.
Bilingual preferred.
Starting salary is $20.07/hour.
