This administrative position is responsible for the planning, leadership, coordination and oversight of Parent, Family, Community Engagement and Program Governance in accordance with federal Head Start Performance Standards, Wisconsin Childcare Licensing and University policies. Work collaboratively with the Head Start Administrative and Program Leadership teams and directly lead and supervise staff supporting families. Lead, direct and oversee a team of professionals with a strong vision for quality in line with the mission and vision of the program while providing internal program control for expenditures and administrative paperwork.

Lead and oversee implementation of Family and Community Partnerships as outlined in the Head Start Program Performance Standards through high quality programming and collaboration to support strong partnerships that engage families in their children’s school readiness and healthy development.

Lead and oversee program governance and volunteers.

Provide Professional Development and collaborate in the community.

Supervise, mentor and assess family resource specialists and other assigned staff and provide guidance and reflection.
