Responsibilities

BCT Partners is searching for a Program Manager to lead its Office of Head Start (OHS)Customer Support team in Chicago, Illinois.  If you have 10+ years’ experience managing Head Start, Early Head Start or other childhood or special education programs, BCT wants you to apply.

The Program Manager oversees, manages and contributes to the delivery of professional, technical and administrative support services for Head Start and Early Head Start grant recipients.  In collaboration with and in support of the Regional Office of Head Start, the manager and their team provide reliable, high-quality information and records management, as well as program management, grants management and administrative support.  The Program Manager is BCT’s primary client liaison, and has direct interactions with Regional Office leadership, BCT’s Director and Program Managers in other OHS regions.

This is a Hybrid position, located in Chicago, Illinois.

Skills / Who You Are

You will have strong knowledge of, and experience in the management and administration of high-quality Head Start and Early Head Start services and in the administration of federal discretionary grants, particularly grants funded under the Administration for Children and Families. The Program Manager will plan, coordinate and oversee the team’s work to ensure that high quality deliverables and results are achieved in the region through program analysis and evaluation, quality assurance and risk management, particularly as they relate to Head Start and other early childhood care and education programs.

You bring to the table:

·        Minimum of 10 years of relevant and progressive post-baccalaureate professional experience managing client services projects of the size, scope and complexity similar to the proposed project, with a minimum of five years of progressive supervisory experience.

·        Demonstrated proficiency/experience in successfully developing, implementing, and managing/improving complex, high profile, multi-faceted projects including experience in implementing quality assurance systems that improved the provision of client services.

·        Demonstrated proficiency to review, aggregate, and present data gathered from multiple sources.

·        Strong organizational, administrative and process coordination skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

·        Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

BCT offers a competitive total compensation package that, for this position includes base pay with an annual salary range between $102,000.00 and $117,000.00 (based on qualifications), along with a generous benefits package.  BCT’s benefits include heavily subsidized medical, dental and vision coverage, fully vested 401k plan with company match, company paid life and disability insurance plans, a strong work-life balance/time-off structure.
