This is a Full Time/Part Year position (36 hours per week) $12.20 – 13.82 an hour.
The cook will provide for nutritional services that contribute to the development and socialization of enrolled infants, toddlers, and children by preparing and serving a variety of developmentally appropriate high quality foods, in compliance with all applicable Federal, State rules and regulations and food safety and sanitation procedures including those related to the safe storage, preparation and service of food.
BENEFITS: Vacation, sick and personal time accruals. Part Year employees have built in vacations which include 2 weeks in winter, spring break (part year staff follow the school district calendar in which their program is located) and summers off.
Requirements
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license and vehicle. Additional training in food service operations or production kitchens and knowledge and experience with CACFP preferred.
