Communities of Practice 2023-24
WHSA Communities of Practice (CoPs) are groups comprised of individuals with similar roles with the goal of solving common problems and developing best practices. Participating individuals engage in joint activities and discussions, help each other, and contribute information. They share concern and passion for what they do and pool their experiences to build a repertoire of resources, stories and tools. Each CoP will meet a minimum of four times, with the possibility of additional sessions if the group so chooses.
Event Description: The WHSA Communities of Practice gathering will consist of around three days over which all CoPs will hold their meetings. These events will include special speakers with expertise and guidance as well as your peers who will share their experiences and knowledge.
Fees:
- Single CoP Event Only: $90 (allows entrance of a single participant to a single CoP gathering and Keynote only)

Communities of Practice meeting during the 2023-24 WHSA Training Season: Health, Mental Health, Home Visiting, ERSEA, Inclusion & Disabilities, Family Services, Education Managers & Specialists, Data Management, Coaches and a special, PBS-hosted Head Start Interactive Community entitled “Strengthening Connections with Families”. CoP registrants are encouraged to participate in as many communities as they would like!
