DESCRIPTION: This webinar will present quality improvement strategies used in QRISs outlined in an a in-depth study by the National Center for Children in Poverty (NCCP). The webinar will address: 1) features of professional development and on-site technical assistance currently aligned with states’ QRISs, 2) how states support trainers and work to ensure high quality T/TA, 3) the extent to which current QRIS efforts reflect research on professional development and coaching practices association with improvements in quality and supports for young children’s development, and 4) recommendations for ongoing work to strengthen states’ QRIS efforts. A question and answer session will be included.
