Monday Keynote Address:
Children’s author and educator, Dr. Kimberly P. Johnson grew up in Shelby, NC. She received her Doctorate in Curriculum, Teaching, and Leadership from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. and also holds a Master’s Degree from Clemson University, in Youth Development and Leadership. Additionally, Kimberly has an Early Childhood Education Degree and a Communications Degree from UNC- Chapel Hill.
Kimberly is a creative thinker and has a passion for teaching and helping others. She is currently serving as a course facilitator at Harvard University, has taught a doctoral class at Northeastern University, and currently teaches at Clemson University and Clinton College. Dr. Johnson considers herself a product or the Head Start Program.

Tuesday Keynote Address:
Mitch Factor has been a lead teacher in Tribal Head Start for over 30 years. Mitch now presents to Tribal Employees across the United States, Alaska and Canada. Mitch specializes in wellness, parent and family involvement, male involvement, and staff working as a collective unit to benefit the child and family. Mitch presents early childhood education events throughout the country. Mitch Factor is also a humorist and enjoys laughing and having fun while presenting.
