DESCRIPTION: WCCF presents a public policy luncheon and forum on the economic benefits of investing in early learning and examples of what work! Keynote speakers will be Harriet Meyer, former President of the Ounce of Prevention Fund, and Rob Grunewald of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and author of “Early Childhood Development: Economic Development with a High Public Return”. Break out sessions will cover the success of early education programs on the local level, exemplified by the Educare School of Milwaukee, and at the state level in both Maryland and North Carolina.
