The Low Income Heating and Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which helps low income households meet their immediate home energy needs, has released its Summer 2011 Home Energy Healthy and Safety Alert. The Alert is available in both English and Spanish and includes summer energy saving tips as well as ways to avoid heat stress.
