JFC Approves 2nd Round of YoungStar Implementation Funding & Five-Year Plan

The Joint Finance Committee (JFC) has approved $4 million dollars for the second round of funding for YoungStar, Wisconsin’s childcare quality rating and improvement system (QRIS), which will be used for the continued implementation of YoungStar.  The JFC also approved the Department of Children and Families’ (DCF) five-year YoungStar sustainability plan with minor modifications.
