Congratulations to the 2010 Wisconsin Head Start Association Achieving Excellence Awards recipients!
Each year WHSA is honored to present Achieving Excellence Awards to our outstanding community partners—those individuals or organizations who benefit our Head Start communities at the local, state, or national levels and whose contributions have had a major impacts on local programs or our broader Wisconsin Head Start community—and recognize the recipients of the 2010 WHSA Staff Affiliate and WHSA Parent Affiliate “Positive Opportunities for Parents” (POP) scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to Head Start/Early Head Start program parents and staff members to acknowledge their exceptional involvement in Head Start and their communities and to support their continuing education and help them pursing their goals.
The 24th Annual Achieving Excellence Awards Luncheon, held October 20, 2010 at the Heidel House Resort in Green Lake, provided us with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate those who have made exceptional contributions to our programs and communities.
Our thanks to the following two individuals and organization who not only believe in our mission, but also provided the volunteer time, effort, and resources to support us and help us achieve excellence and congratulations to the parents and staff who received scholarships to further their education and to acknowledge their committed involvement with Head Start and their communities.
